Camping Bergumermeer is a real family campsite: the ANWB has given us a 8,3 rating.
Don't know how to sail? That's not a problem! We offer sailing lessons in Optimists and Falcons in the high season (summer holidays only). If you already know how to sail, or want to use a motor boat to get to know the area, you can hire a Falcon or motor boat here. We will also have a flatboat in the harbour in 2008 which you can use for day trips.

Our type bungalows have space for six people, and are on the Prinses Margriet canal, just before it runs into Bergumermeer. They make the ideal base for touring around Friesland and the Friesian lakes. These villas have spacious living rooms with tasteful interiors and central heating. The kitchens are fully equipped, including a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and kettle, etc. There are three bedrooms, all with single beds and duvets. One room has bunk beds. Sitting on your terrace (with garden furniture and parasol, of course), you can enjoy watching the ships go by.

We have really luxurious six-person mobile homes for hire. Our mobile homes have three bedrooms, a terrace and garden furniture. They have generous living rooms, with colour TVs, gas or electric stoves, open kitchens with refrigerators and coffee machines, microwave ovens and showers with toilets. They have one double bedroom and two single bedrooms, including duvets, and kitchens. Our mobile homes also come fully equipped. Bed linen hire is mandatory, and you can only reserve mobile homes from Friday to Friday in high season.
We have fully-fitted tents for hire (bungalow tents). The kitchens have everything you needs, from refrigerators to corkscrews. They have lighting, good beds, terrace chairs and parasols. You only need to bring pillows, sleeping bags and sheets.
