Camping Bergumermeer is a real family campsite: the ANWB has given us a 8,3 rating.
Don't know how to sail? That's not a problem! We offer sailing lessons in Optimists and Falcons in the high season (summer holidays only). If you already know how to sail, or want to use a motor boat to get to know the area, you can hire a Falcon or motor boat here. We will also have a flatboat in the harbour in 2008 which you can use for day trips.
Do you want sailing lessons?
Bergumermeer has its own sailing school, providing sailing lessons for young and old in high season, by good, sports instructors.
Would your children like to learn how to sail? If they're between 8 and 13, they learn in an Optimist, or in a Falcon if they're older. Sailing lessons are available in weeks 27-34.
Optimist courses:
- Ages 8-13
- Four days a week (Mondays-Thursdays), two hours a day
- From 10.00 to 12.00
- Includes lifejacket (must be worn on courses)
- Price € 105.00 per child
- Ages 14 and over
- Four days a week (Mondays-Thursdays), three hours a day
- From 13.00 to 16.00
- Incl. zwemvest (tevens verplicht om aan te hebben tijdens de cursus)
- Each Falcon can take up to four people
- Price € 140.00 per student
- Sunday afternoons
- Courses last three hours, from 13.00 to 16.00
- Includes lifejacket (must be worn on courses)
- Excludes boat
